OmniTech' Response to "Very Dishonest- posted on Dec 9, 2014"As these allegations are posted anonymously, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer any comments as to what actually, if anything, transpired. In this instance, the complainer hasn’t revealed any details with which we can use to determine if this person’s brother is actually our customer in the first place. We invite this person to provide some more details like his brother’s email address and on what date he may have come in to us for help.
We are OmniTech Support, an independent global Tech Support organization which has been running successfully with pride and passion more than 12 years. We access the customer’s computer, only with the customer’s permission, using a well-known and trusted remote 3rd-party access tool called “LogMeIn”. We do not inject virus on others’ computers and we can prove it as we record every remote sessions. The small (1.2 MB) LogMeIn applet, which allows one-time remote access to diagnose and fix any issues, is a harmless one-time use applet. After a session is closed, the applet becomes unusable and can be easily deleted out of the Programs folder in a few seconds. Since OmniTech Support is a fee-based third-party remote Tech Support company, we charge for the service which we render, we have various System Assurance Service Plans at economical prices, which can work out for everyone, the wide range of service packs include Yearly, Half-Yearly and Quarterly Service Plans. If anyone needs our service just to fix a specific issue, then that person can opt for a “One-Time Fix Plan”. A $250 charge ($249.99) is not for a single-issue fix from our company. The fact that a plan was not mentioned for that price, causes us to doubt this complaint. We never conduct business by tricking our customers to sign up for our service plan; rather we guide them to select the best plan for the specific customer’s needs and should they wish to purchase one. We are transparent throughout the process and explain everything before the customer makes a payment and signs up with us. They sign up with us because of our beneficial service plan for which they get their initial issue fixed, a full version of Bitdefender anti-virus software (rated very good by CNet), a full version of Advanced System Optimizer (rated outstanding by CNet), 5 GB of Cloud storage and UNLIMITED tech support… all at an unmatchable price. We don’t mislead anyone to sign up. |

OmniTech's Response to "Re You guy's don't deserve customers- posted on Dec 4, 2014"This complaint is without merit, is very inaccurate and is very illogical. Please understand, the calls this person was getting, were from Scammers, not from OmniTech Support. Sometimes, in order to lend credibility to their scam, they claim to be representatives of a leading tech support company, like we are. They also can sometimes spoof the caller ID function to display a legitimate company’s phone number. This is unfortunate that this person has been hoodwinked by that scammer. We do not make unsolicited outbound calls…period!
OmniTech Support is a fee-based, large and reputable online technical support organization, having thousands of satisfied customers. Some people simply do not understand the process of tech support and their complaints are witness to that. This person’s re-post explains that he is not an actual customer to begin with. Our process is very transparent and our policy & price are unmatchable by others. We always want our valuable customers to be fully delighted with the service and value they get from us. That’s why we have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. |

Omni Tech called backMonths ago I had an issue with a pop-up. I thought I was contacting Microsoft but instead it was Omni Tech. I paid $99 to have them remove what appeared to be malware. I continued with the pop-up problem and contacted Omni Tech and was told for $199 they would fix the problem. I told them they were supposed to have already 'fixed' it and I was not willing to let them 'fix' it again for more money. After several tries, I was able to remove and resolve the problem myself and also remove Omni Tech reference from my PC. Today, I got a call from someone with an accent who claimed to be with Omni Tech. He told me he was receiving a signal from my PC and that I had malware. For $550, they would connect with me and fix my PC. He also told me that I cannot use my computer because hackers were getting all my information. I told him he was the hacker and not to call me again. But it left me with an uneasy feeling that I am being hacked.

Very DishonestYeah they did the same thing to my brother, he is elderly a retired Vietnam Vet. just got out of the hospital a week ago after being in for over 70 days, and just wanted to reset his hotmail password. He is currently staying at my home till he gets back on his feet. He was using my computer, they mislead him, he was using my computer which he told them and their tech downloaded a program so they count take control of it. Took me a while get the program off but i finally did. I was out of the home at the time but when I got home I saw what was going on. Found out they got him to sign up for a tech support program for $250 on my computer, Now im having to check it for programs and virusis they may have put on it. I feel they took advantage of his lack of computer knowledge. I was able to talk to the so called supervisor he assured me they would refund his money which he needs very much, but so far they haven't. OMNI TECH SUPPORT ARE VERY DISHONEST PEOPLE

Omnitech Response :: You guy's don't deserve customers::This person is being contacted by scammers posing as OmniTech Support. Other scammers may pose as Microsoft or MacAfee and other leading support companies. At OmniTech Support, we simply do not call current or past customers and ask them to connect to us online. We interact with the customers only if they connect to us from their end through a call or a chat. Scammers have been known to call customers and claim that the computer of the person they called is infected. Sometimes, to lend credibility to their scam, they claim to be representatives of a top-tier tech support companies like OmniTech Support is.
Because of the sheer volume of these calls, they may occasionally reach an ex-customer of ours. It’s a numbers game. Because they are calling from Skype phones, their costs are negligible and it pays off if just a few percent bite on the scam and think they have been contacted by a legitimate tech support company. There are probably dozens of these scammers out there doing this every day - we get two or three messages like this (or more) every day complaining about being contacted about someone claiming there is a serious infection on their computer. But the key point to remember is nobody can claim that they have encountered an infection on anyone’s computer unless they have direct, physical or customer-granted remote access to it! A legitimate remote tech support company, however, needs to use, with the customer’s permission, a remote access tool like Team Viewer or LogMeIn in order to connect with the customer’s computer to diagnose issues and fix software and/or remove malicious files. That’s the only way they can. These tools are totally transparent, however, as the customer can see every step that the technician is taking. Furthermore, everyone should understand that anyone can terminate the chat session and remote access with just one click. So, if anyone cold-calls you and wants to install Team Viewer or LogMeIn, just hang up! Then call the company that the scammers claimed to be from to a phone number you know to be genuine. A caller who creates a sense of urgency or uses high-pressure tactics is probably a scam artist. Do not to let them into your computer! Another key point: These scammers also do not want to leave a paper trail, so they can’t be identified when someone figures out they’ve been scammed. That’s why they do not accept credit cards and only accept Western Union, Green Dot Cards, or a MoneyPak voucher. Legitimate tech support companies accept major credit cards and, in the case of OmniTech Support, we don’t even see the credit card information, as our customers use a secure third-party payment gateway. We only see who has paid and how much they have paid. In this instance, the complainer hasn’t revealed any details with which we can use to determine if this person is actually our customer in the first place, or a competitor who cannot match our quality and pricing who is trying to malign us or has not contacted us the same claim, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer any comments as to what actually, if anything, transpired. Our process is very transparent and our policy & price are unmatchable by others. We always want our valuable customers to be fully delighted with the service and value they get from us. We always try to maintain our professionalism and our high standard of service, so that every customer can feel confident and secure when doing business with OmniTech Support |

OmniTech's response to "Liars!" Nov 29, 2014This person is miles off-base in his complaints. When he was quoted a price of $349.99 that was NOT for a single-issue fix! That quoted price would include the fix of that particular issue, plus a full version of Bit Defender anti-virus software, a full version of Advanced System Optimizer, 10 GB of Cloud storage plus UNLIMITED TECH SUPPORT for 18 months!
When that appeared to be outside of his budget, we offered him shorter, less-expensive plans and finally a single-issue fix. We do not offer a “one size fits all” type of pricing. We work with our customers to find the best plan for their needs. We are not playing games with our pricing, trying to get a sale at any cost. To diagnose the underlying cause for any issue, we run a respected third-party diagnostic tool, as what appears to be obvious on the surface may have another less-obvious cause. In order to do this, we need, with the customer’s cooperation, for the customer to download a remote-access applet. Unless a technician has direct, physical possession of the computer, remote access needs to be established. That applet is not malware. Anyone who thinks that might need to review what remote access entails. What the diagnostic software reveals is what is actually on the person’s computer. These results cannot be manipulated. What it shows, is actually there. The customer even confirmed in his “complaint” that his Norton scan showed similar results! So, we fail to see what his point is? How are we “Liars”??? This person did not pay anything to us. We installed nothing apart from LogMeIn applet and a PC health scanner to diagnose the issue by its root cause and then only with his permission. Obviously there were issues on this person’s computer which our technician diagnosed initially and conveyed the results to him; and the same was uncovered by his Norton360 as well. Had we been given the opportunity, we would have explained is that the small (1.2 MB) LogMeIn applet, which allows one-time remote access to diagnose and fix any issues, is a harmless one-time use applet. After a session is closed, the applet becomes unusable and can be easily deleted out of the Programs folder in a few seconds. We, OmniTech Support are a large and independent online technical support organization. Since 2003, we have consistently delivered beneficial and quality services, on time, to hundreds of Customers and to several small businesses. OmniTech Support recently completed 11 years of existence this year. We are an industry that always offered better services, availability and scalability than anything the competition has to offer. Our Customers and clients are at the heart of all that we do; and what we do is turning smarter way of issue resolutions that is enabling our customers to improve their computer performance and keep it safe. Our 350 experts combine passion and creativity with world-class industry knowledge, tools and processes to support our customers in resolving their computer issues. We are OBVIOUSLY not a SCAM and we do not engage in any unethical practices. Our process is very transparent and our policy & price are unmatchable by others. Re-post: Omnitech Response to :: Shame om you::This complaint is still without any merit. If someone has a problem with our service on a particular issue all they have to do is contact us and we will either complete the fix, or refund all of the fees paid to us. Our real customers know that! In our original response, we had clearly requested this complainant to contact us or provide more on this person being a customer of ours. If this person still does not cooperate with us, then it is out of our hands.
We again invite this person to provide some more details like his/her email address and on what date he/she allegedly came in to us for help. If the customer can re-contact us, then we can research his/her concern. In that way, we can fill him/her in on what the issue was. If his/her issue has not been resolved, we would be happy to continue work on the issue until it is resolved and to provide a full refund if it cannot be resolved. To get a refund, just the customer needs to send us an email at [email protected] or to call us at our Toll-free number, 1-800-966-9940. We are here to help you and would be happy to settle any issue. |

Liars! You guys are the biggest scam and liars. I told you my internet was slow and you were downloading things on my computer. You guys told me I had like 500 counts of malware and spyware. You told me that it would cost 399.99 to fix and I said No Thank you and I tried to leave the chat but you were still controlling my computer and would not let me leave the session. Then you said your supervisor was walking by and he lowered the price to 199.99 that's when I knew it was a scam. So I fought you for control and ended the chat. Thank God I had Norton360 on my computer and I ran scans all over my computer to see if there were any risks (which there were). Then I had them clean up my computer. Guess what everything you installed was gone and my computer was safe. I was smarter than you thought. DO NOT USE OMNITECH SUPPORT THEY WILL INSTAL THONGS ON YOUR COMPUTER MAKING IT LOOK LIKE A VIRUS. I also went to my control panel to see what was installed that day and I uninstalled everything that was installed on that day. You guys are losers. And my computer is fixed. I will make sure No one I know, and all ignition social media friends don't use this then I will have them share it to people they know passing it on and on and on. You guys suck. You can Thank me later.😉

*I have been getting calls from this company . The last one just this am. ThANKSGiving day at approx. 9:00am. The calls from a frantic person, foreign accent, saying that my computer is showing an infection in their Windows office. IT is so insistent and alarming that you want to respond. I said give me a number to call you back. This was yesterday. After some delay and calling to someone in the background, they gave me a number. I never called. I hope that people do not feel scared and release information or computer to them.

You guy's don't deserve customersSomeone calling up to see what is wrong with their email then telling them their computer is severely infected with a scare tactic then in the middle of the process try and sell them a package for 350.00. That was BS, I should have taken it to Geek Squad or Office Depot. I'd rather be as dirty as you and keep writing these reviews. You screwed with the wrong person that's all. People will get screwed, read this and write their own scam report. Hey I gave myself 5 stars, I deserve it.

Shame om youHey I wouldn't admit to it either, could you even imagine the liability and having to give back the money and maybe a federal agency investigation. Of course you're going to defend yourself. It's like fixing a non existing problem in a car, where's the proof. I only wanted my email problem fixed. I'm not going to argue about something when you won't take responsibility. You got your money, be happy.

Omnitech Response to :: DO NOT GIVE OMNITECH REMOTE ACCESS::We cannot understand how someone would think they were chatting with their ISP, when/if they were chatting with us. We are OmniTech Support, an independent global Tech Support organization which has been running successfully with pride and passion more than 12 years. On our chats, on our remote access tool, on our payment pages it all says very prominently, who we are. We have a disclaimer that clearly says that we are an independent tech support company and that we are not affiliated with Microsoft. We have every single customer sign a terms and conditions document, that again clearly states who we are, and again has the disclaimer. We send an invoice to every single customer, and it is from Omnitech Support in large bold font. We send a payment receipt, again from “Omnitech Support”.
Sometimes, remote access cannot be initiated in Normal mode due to conflict in software (mostly with malicious software present on the customer’s computer), so we initiate remote in safe mode which can be bring back to Normal mode once technician finishes his job. In this case it might be that the session was disconnected in between so our technician could not change it to normal mode. It can be changed back to Normal mode once restart the system. We are transparent throughout the process and explain everything before the customer makes a payment and signs up with us. Omnitech Response to :: Scam?::We do not simply call our customers and ask them to connect to us. We interact with the customers only if they connect to us from their end through call or chat. Scammers have been known to call customers and claim that the computer of the person they called is infected. Because of the sheer volume of these calls, they may reach an ex-customer of ours. This is a well-known scam that has intensified recently. Sometimes, to lend credibility to their scam, they claim to be representatives of a top-tier tech support companies like OmniTech Support is.
The simple fact is that NO ONE can diagnose that a computer is infected over the phone. Someone needs to have direct physical or customer-granted remote access to do so! Also, everyone should note that legitimate tech support companies do not require payment by “MoneyPak” Voucher or by Western Union. Scammers use these methods, because they leave no paper trail to find them. They can’t accept credit cards because they could be identified and because the credit card companies would dump them anyway, because of too many people asking for refunds (chargebacks). These scammers also use the same ploy that their victim has overpaid and that a payment for the lesser amount should be sent and then they’d return the higher amount. When we accept payment from a new customer, we don’t even see their credit card information, as our customers pay through a trusted, secured, third-party payment gateway. All we see is who paid and how much. There are probably hundreds of such scammers out there doing this every day - we get two or three messages like this (or more) every day asking about it. The lucky ones who recognized the scam, so as not to be trapped into it and risk ending up with identify theft, infections, hacking of their computer, or being convinced to buy software or services they either don't need or that don't really exist at all. Unfortunately, those who fall for these scammers’ tricks, have probably lost their money. You'd be surprised by how many contact us AFTER they realized they'd been tricked asking us what to do. Do not waste time talking to these people, do not give them any personal information whatsoever, do not be tricked by what they may get you to see on the computer - in fact, don't do anything they suggest on your computer or even visit websites they recommend, and most importantly don't give them access to your computer. And the customer can terminate the chat session with one click. So, if anyone cold-calls you and wants to install Team Viewer or LogMeIn, just hang up. And call the company yourself on a phone number you know to be genuine. A caller who creates a sense of urgency or uses high-pressure tactics is probably a scam artist. Omnitech Response to :: Unknown Omni Tech Number won't stop calling::We do not simply call our customers and ask them to connect to us.
There are probably thousands of such companies out there doing this every day - we get two or three messages like this (or more) every day asking about it. You are the lucky ones who recognized the scam, enough not to be trapped into it and end up with identify theft, infections, hacking of your computer, convincing you to buy software or services you either don't need or that don't really exist at all, and all sorts of nefarious tricks. Do not to let them into your As these allegations are posted anonymously, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer any comments as to what actually transpired. Suffice it to say, we provide quality, affordable technical support, and always try to provide the best services to our customers. As always, we are here to assist people who truly need our experienced technician’s help regarding their any software related-issues at any time, day or night. That’s why we have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, which tells about our success story and trustworthy service at any point of time. |

DO NOT GIVE OMNITECH REMOTE ACCESSI mistakenly thought this was my ISP and allowed them remote access to my computer--all I wanted to do was get MS outlook configured. They ran a scan and as soon as I realized they were not my ISP I asked the tech to immediately leave the computer exactly as she found it. Unfortunately she had done something to my computer so it would only start in safe mode. I called back twice and was told to turn off my computer for 10 minutes and the problem would be fixed but it didn't work. I called a 4th time, and the rep assured me he would fix the problem and ran another scan telling me I had over 1000 polymorphic infections which would corrupt my files and emails unless I paid him $240 dollars to fix it. The whole process took about 4 hours because I had to do it all with online chat and the reps were slow. I called back and spoke to a supervisor and threatened to report him to the BBB and FTC. He told me how to fix it in less than a minute, without admitting guilt of course. These people are absolutely corrupt and evil. Never allow them remote access to your computer,

Omnitech Response to :: Problem with Mac and Outlook::These allegations are posted anonymously, so, we are not in a position to offer any comments as to what actually, if anything, transpired. We invite this person to provide some more details like, date of supposedly contacting us, the customer ID he/she was given, so that we can investigate further into this particular case.
As per the complaint; if the issue was not fixed even after 6 different technicians (which doesn’t happen here) working on this person’s computer, then the issue was indeed complex OR the customer might not have the essential information (like a key code) to fix the issue. A promised call-back is always done by our supervisor trying to make an active communication with the customers to address their issues immediately. But sometimes, our supervisors are busy helping other customers and the promised call back may be delayed for few minutes. In other case, if we have an incorrect phone number (that is given by you), then we cannot reach you. That’s why we always request our customers to provide a correct phone number plus a convenient time to call them, so that we can address their issues effectively. Also at no time in fixing software-related issues are any data or files accessed or removed. We record every keystroke we do for training purposes and quality-assurance, so we can say with assurance that we did not destroy any data. We also do not offer cloud storage at the absurdly-high price of $940! Instead, we provide cost-effective support to thousands of satisfied customers every day and swiftly address any problems or misunderstandings a customer might have. Our $249.99 subscription plan is more than a “maintenance” plan; it includes full versions of Bit-Defender anti-virus and Advanced System Optimizer, plus UNLIMITED tech support and 5GB of cloud storage …more than enough for a small business. As always, we are here to assist people who truly need our experienced technician’s help regarding their any software related-issues at any time, day or night. |

Omnitech Response to :: No.1 Fraud Company::This supposed employee is off-base on all his comments. This might be an ex-employee, or it could be an entirely bogus claim. Because of his poor syntax, it is extremely doubtful that this person ever worked for us. We do not scam anyone. Also, no one can say that there are “threats” on a person’s computer unless they have direct, physical or customer-granted remote access to it. Someone who worked for us would understand that basic principle.
We, at OmniTech Support have thousands of customers who are in long time relationship with us and they are happy with our reliable support. We have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, which tells about our success story and trustworthy service at any point of time. We are a large online support organization and we are managing our business from all over the world and we are headquartered in Los Angeles, not the Philippines. We have offices and technicians in The Philippines, India AND the USA. We are a global company. If this were a real employee, he would know that OmniTech Support is headquartered in Los Angeles, not in Philippines and is not owned by Cubed Solutions. OmniTech Support is an incredibly friendly and positive place to work, which also means “high commitment and motivation from the team”. Also, great support is provided, training offered and we provide the opportunity to have career progress for our employees. We haven’t heard any complaints from our employees that our organization is difficult to work in. |

Omnitech Response to :: OMNI Tech Support has poor security ::Our data is secure and encrypted. Scammers are calling people posing as a technician from a leading software company (like Microsoft or MacAfee), a hardware company (like Dell or Sony), or a top-tier tech support company like OmniTech Support is. It’s a numbers game for them. In this instance, they are just guessing you are an actual OmniTech Support customer. Even if they are right only 5% of the time, it pays out for them, as their calls are typically cost-free Skype calls. No one can diagnose that there is something specifically wrong with your computer unless they have direct physical or customer-granted remote access to it.
OmniTech Support is doing everything we can to find out who is responsible for these scam calls. Unfortunately, these scams are probably not the result of a single person or organization. They appear to be coming from either India, China or Russia. Who receive these calls should try and note the caller ID (If available) and the time of the call and report it to the Federal Trade Commission. We are investigating this scam, as are industry leaders like Microsoft. Our process is much secured and OmniTech Support is a trustworthy company that always tries to meet our customers’ needs and we seek to resolve any issue or confusion quickly. |

Scam?I believe I was scammed by someone claiming to be OMNITECH. kept calling me and telling me I had been hacked. He knew my customer number from Omni Tech, which lulled me into a sense of security. I ended up paying $500 through a MoneyPak voucher for a lifetime Network Security program. I was told he would call back today with more details but so far no call so I believe they took the money and ran. They were from India, with accents that were hard to understand. What do I do now?

Omnitech Response to :: OMNI TECH IS A SCAM and FRAUDS::This is a bogus post from someone purporting to know how we perform our tasks. Firstly, no one in our present or past employ would have grammar as terrible as this person’s. We, at OmniTech Support are a large online support organization and we are managing our business from all over the world and we are headquartered in Los Angeles. We have offices and technicians in The Philippines, India and the USA. We are a global company. We are a fee-based solution to our customer’s needs and it is clearly mentioned on our website. We offer annual and half-yearly System Assurance plans, which offer great value including unlimited tech support. If a customer doesn’t want a subscription plan, they can elect to purchase, one-time fix or single-issue support, which are very affordably priced. However, one-time fix price always depends on the complexity of the issue, as the necessary time to fix different issues can vary widely. Due to occasional seasonal discounts, the 12 months service plan charges may vary.
We simply don’t offer a 12 months service plan at $800 to $1500. If this was a real employee, he would know that. ASO (advance system optimizer) is a trusted 3rd party software that tunes computers. We don’t have control to alter any function of it. Advanced System Optimizer is an optimization suite to enhance the output and speed of your PC. It includes the most comprehensive set of utilities which will keep your PC running smooth, clean and error free. No one has ever complained of ASO planting virus on anyone’s computer. We are not scam and do not engage in any unethical practices, as we provide cost-effective support to thousands of satisfied customers every day and swiftly address any problems or misunderstandings a customer might have. That's why we have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. This smells like a competitor. |
