Rhinoplasty with Dr. CalvertI decided to have rhinoplasty preformed by Dr Jay Calvert. Worst decision made in my life. I'm a male in my late 20's and was not happy with the way my nose was looking. My main concern was the tip of my nose. I wanted it to have a more refined look. He said I can do that and I said great. On my second consultation he mentioned that my nostrils were to wide and recommended to have them brought in. I never really had an issue with my nostrils but considering he is a rhinoplasty specialist I went with his advice. He also stated I had a deviated septum which was a surprise because I was never told that from other doctors I've seen. He said my breathing would improve with the correction.
To make a long story short. Now my nose appears longer and some what feminit looking. Nostrils were brought in to much and they are now uneven. And on top of that, my breathing is worst than it was before. Again he stated I had a deviated septum so I thought after correction I would have improved breathing not worse. Now I question if I really had a deviated septum especially from the recent disturbing news about Dr. Calvert and possible insurance fraud. My last visit I had with Dr. Calvert I told him I was not happy with the out come. I also asked him why does my nose appear longer and he said I made it longer. I was like what! Prior to surgery he never discussed that he was going to make my nose longer and if he would have I would have ran not walked out of his office. Oh I can't forget to mention he offered to revise my nose again and wanted another $6,000 plus. Unbelievable! Bottom line all I wanted was a refined tip and breathing to stay the same if not improved but I got the total opposite. He should have never touched my nostrils. Words can't describe how disappointed I am with the out come. I don't feel like my self anymore. Now I have to save up money and search for a new surgeon who can HOPEFULLY undo what Dr. Calvert did to my nose. My word of advice when picking a plastic surgen. Get several opinions not just one. Ask lots of questions and make sure you and the doctor are on the same page. |

This so called doctor can't be allowed to come even close to patientsI went in for laser liposuction with Dr. Jay Calvert and I am almost 6 months post-surgery and have had very little results. They tell you on your consultation how great it will look and they showed me the areas that I would change. I have an area that was not treated as the nurse said I did not pay for that area. However, during my consult I was told the whole area would be done. I basically threw away $6k on a service that was totally fabricated. I understand there are no guarantees with plastic surgery, but when you look the same or as in my opinion, I feel as if it looks worse now, that is a scam.
Actually I even have such a thought that they did nothing to me and just let me think that I was after operation. They gave me different pills as I should not feel pain but I think that maybe I felt no pain at all… Please be aware of Dr. Jay Calvert and all the staff working with him. They all get bribes and lie to the patients. I think such doctors should be arrested as they harm people. There is nothing but a good health that can be more important for a human. |

Almost put me in a coma!I can't believe I trusted my body and health to this monster! Dr. Jay Calvert is a terrible man! I attended their clinic in hope to return my beauty, and I was deeply disappointed!
The procedure which I wanted was to remove some of my skin which was left after I lost a lot of weight over the last two years. The Dr. said that it would be an easy operation comparing to those he has been doing throughout his practice. Before the procedure I was suppose to make a payment. I was a bit worried that if I would not like the results then I would not be able to egt my money back. But since this is a good clinic and the Dr's seem so professional, I calmed myself down. Before the procedure I had to spend one day at the hospital to get my body prepared, to run some tests. I never had any allergies, never felt sick because of medicine of any sort. During the operation something went wrong, and I almost fell in to a coma. When I woke up and found out about it, I got so upset and so scared. I don't understand how could they not see if my body was not prepared for a deep narcosis. As soon as I got out of the clinic, I went home and called up my lawyer. I explained the situation, and he said that it is a great crime. And that I should really start a case against the Dr. Jay Calvert's clinic. Don't ever go there! |
