US Tax Shield

So much for being settled. took our money and after 2 years, still getting Notices from IRS.

I paid $3,500.00 and received nothing. I'm currently 30 days from having a Lein filed by the IRS. Tax Shield said they would negotiate with the IRS and I shouldn't call the IRS on my own. Guess I should have waited until the Lein was placed. This company should be put out of business. I asked for a refund but noted that the way the fees are broke down only 15% is left by the time you realize they are not going to do anything to help your situation. Never trust anyone you can't meet in person and talk with.

US Tax Shield a.k.a. Intercard Payments, Inc must be avoided at all costs. This company has several offices in the US including New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles. They claim to be professional IRS Help providers in such areas as tax debt, audit appeals, payroll tax resolution etc. My experience with them was related to the tax debt I had. I was dealing with the man named Matt Austin who is supposed to be US Tax Shield’s leading specialist in resolving complex tax problems. Everything looked professional at the beginning and Matt always assured me that everything is going to be fine and he will arrange a good offer in compromise for me as I was unable to pay my tax debt. But the time was going and there was nothing done. Matt kept giving promises and I kept waiting and believing him – this was my mistake. Long story short, but the guy actually never did anything (probably was busy dealing with more valuable customers) and I had to go to another company. I must say I did that just in time otherwise I could simply go to jail. I ended up paying 80% on top of my debt in penalties but avoided jail. My new consultant also informed me that it was possible to significantly reduce this penalty amount if I went to a professional straight away but I was unfortunate enough to end up with US Tax Shield. I have no idea how they got A+ rating in BBB. These guys simply must be avoided.
