Press Talent is NOT a LICENSED TALENT AGENCYNevada law REQUIRES talent agencies to be registered AS A TALENT (Employment) AGENCY with the state. They must also obtain the proper surety bonds and ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHARGE ANY FEES WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE LABOR BOARD.
Press Talent does NONE of the things required to legally act as a talent agent in the State of Nevada. Press Talent was previously known as TRU TALENT and was shut down after an intensive fraud investigation, only to open under the new name of Press Talent. There are MORE COMPLAINTS filed with the BBB against PRESS/TRU TALENT than all of the LEGITIMATE AGENCIES combined! When operating under the name of Tru Talent they falsely used the company name that I work for as a client. |

almost fooled meI was n Walmart w my son and this lady (Gina) came up complementing my son asking if I ever thought of putting him in modeling . I said not really. Then she said she was an agent for a company. I gave her my number and three days later a guy from the company called making it seem like it was for me. I thought they wanted my son. Red flag! So I googled them and now I'm seeing all these negative reports. I was supposed to go check it out today. But I've changed my mind now. Glad I saw these reviews..

SoonI got approached by a young African American (?) Lady at Wal-mart. She came up to me and told me my hair was beautiful. At first, I thought she was going to ask me where did I get my hair done. But then she started to talk about her company and stuff like that. I thought it was legit. They called my mom 3 days later, my mom didn't call back. They called her again 3 days later reminding her. Later on, I called them back and they said if I wanted to go to their meeting thing to meet up telling me I had an audition. So my mom had a friend who is signed with this company. She said how she paid $1,500 up front for her two daughters. They're going to take modelling classes soon, I guess. I have to go on Tuesday, thank God I saw all of these reviews. Saving my mom's money. Got my hopes up for nothing, hopefully one day I'll start my acting career. :]

YEAHThis is not a organized company the atmosphere yet is decent at first, but they will try to sign you by any means of convincing and tell you that they send away many people at a time and that your the lucky one. YOu are approached by young girls telling you how beautiful you are and commenited at first. But once you sign that paper expect monthly payments to appears out of your contract everytime you get paid and if you try to get out of the contract they will tell you have to pay a crazy amount to stop service. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR THEIR ARE MORE ONE STARS ON HERE THAN positive just don't sign with a company you have to pay for to make you a star. Real model agencies only make money when you do their is NO must take money out mothly for this bullshit...I found out the hard way to save you!

Great Company great staffI went to Press Talent for an audition for my daughter she has never done modeling before and this experience was wonderful they set us up with everything you need to jump start her career from starting a portfolio for her, to hair, makeup, and marketing. They took care of every aspect and all i had to do was sit back and watch my daughter develop. The staff cares allot about the success of their talents and they do everything in their power to make sure you are the best at your craft they build the foundation to start your your modeling or acting career i would recommend this company to any parent. Its definitely worth a try:::: just remember this is the industry we are in and not every one is ever gonna be happy with the outcome of any company before you make any decisions please make your own conclusion. This is a great company who cares about everyone that is serious about their dreams!!!!!!!!!

Guess I'm not going to my ''audition''Press Talent Management was already pretty suspicious to me. They found me at a mall and asked for my phone number, which made me wonder why they did not have any professional business cards. I read all these reviews and thought well damn, I sure as hell am not going to my ''audition'' anymore. Fuck this and fuck Press Talent. Son of a bitches ! Smh

The Good and the BadI became part of the company for several months. The agent I was working with was so eager to get me started and she said she had so many ideas for me to do. That's what got me excited about it. But after that, I NEVER heard anything from her. And when I would try to contact her or see her in her office, she would either be busy or say she would get back to me. When I had my photo shoot and wanted my prints (that we paid upfront for), she said she rushed the order and I would get it back in a matter of 2 weeks. Not only did she get my hopes up, but she also never informed me when they came in (6 weeks later). Although, when I went to the head of the prints, they told me that they were in 3 weeks after my photo shoot. Then once classes ended, I got no calls about gigs or jobs that she wanted me to do. The only communication I ever got was from the teacher through texts. He was the one who kept us updated on everything, class wise. Overall, I was glad I got the experience they provided, but the communication needs to be worked on.

Press Talent - Unprofessional business if you work their as well as be a talent!!!Do not fall for this scam! They do not stay true to their promises they will find you at walmarts, malls etc. Not because Press Talent think you are beautiful or handsome like they say they just want your money! If you work there expect to be talked about and disrespected! Read about them before you make any rash decisions.

My experience with Press talentI will say that I did not read any reviews about Press talent until after I signed the paperwork and prepared my son for the photo shoot. My son mentioned the company to some friends, they advised him to check the site out on the internet. I will say although there are many negative reviews of the company. The manager N. L. was very professional when I decided to pull out of the contract. I was able to receive my money back and get out of the contract. It had not been quite 72 hrs yet since I signed the contract. I do appreciate that she did not give me a hard time with giving me my money back or relieving me of the contract. I do get the impression that she is trying to make the company have a better reputation and that she is real. I only decided to pull out because of my own reservations, the company had not yet done anything negative to me or my son yet.

AwesomeFirst i would like to say this company is not a scam. I really do enjoy my time with Press Talent Company. i got scouted while i was the mall. Jordan was such a friendly person that scouted me and told me that i will get a call with this company in few days. i was happy because they kept their promise and gave me a call and they scheduled me for an interview right away. I went and talked with an agent name Ebony she was really friendly, honest, and told me on every detail i needed to know. i wanted to sign up as a model but ebony recommended me being a model and plus an actor, i had never dreamed of being an actor but i was happy to hear that i could start of with this awesome company. they gave me so much opportunity. Also another worker name Nicole was such a friendly informative person she would give me a call to let me know about me schedule so i do not forget. also answers every question i needed. they are such an awesome company. i highly recommend this company for anyone wanting to join so do not hesitate. i am happy about this company.

Dont sign anything Dont even go hereI signed up my 1 year old son to be a baby model. They do whatever they can and make it a rush for you to sign the contract. They took out 100 dollars at the signing. When I went to the photoshoot, all the pictures looked the same. At the signing the agent told my the copyright would be somewhere around 200. It was almost $500! I could only pay 50. But I did not even get that 1 sheet. I get no emails from the agent and no calls from them. What am I paying for??? They do nothing to help you succeed.... Don't go here. I don't want to give them another penny.

Yeah I may be pressing charges. Don't even consider this place.I did a redken hair show in january where i made a decent amount of money.
On the paperwork I filled out i put that Press Talent was my representative agency, so my check would be sent to them. 2 months and many phones calls to press went by and every time i'd asked them about my check theyd say We haven't gotten it yet but we will contact you immediately as soon as we do. It could take up to 3 months. Well I finally contacted Redken and to my knowledge they'd sent Press my check a very long while ago. eternal middle finger |

press talent is not a scam , setting the record straight!!Hello fellow readers, I am a agent at press talent management and development I am writing to address the complaints of customers that are dissatisfied with our company and the services that we provide. Let me first off apologize to those who have had a bad experience with our company.
Now first off we at press talent offer a service of providing modeling and acting training as well as a photo shoot along with life time photography that includes your photographer and hair and make up artist.....meaning by signing our contract you can get s photo shoot whenever you want all you have to do is pay for your copyright fee of 40 per print. Now yes you have to pay for training, you can go to a million auditions and you will never get chosen because you don't know the auditioning process. So whether you get the training at press talent or somewhere else your going to have to have it! And no you shouldn't have to pay for your talent but if you come into our office wanting to model and act but can't read a basic script or how to walk a runway then what exactly is the talent that my companys supposed to be investing in? We are training you for just that reason to give you talent so when you go to audition you actually have a shot at landing the job. :) our casting directors are not fake they are imdb accredited So for 1000 dollars model in training acting training photo shoot to build a legit portfolio including life time photo shoots with photograer and hair an make up artist, I can take pictures whenever I want all I have to do is pay for the copyright of 40 bucks per print for the photos I want ......not all the photos that we take during that whole photo shoot session...... I'd say that's a pretty good deal any contract amount lower than that is amazing. Also our company is non exclusive you can receive auditions from any other companies or booking agencies while receiving press talents services But again no many how many booking agencies your represented by if you don't know how to audition and you dont have a portfolio you won't succeed in any audition . If you already have talent then you don't need to pay for a modeling and acting contract you just need representation which is FREE at our agrncy . |

This Company is Bad News! This company is indeed a scam. They prey on young adults and mother's of young children at the mall, at wal-mart, even on the strip. Once they get you to the audition they try and convience you to sign up for their $1500 contracts for modeling and acting lessons, no matter how terrible you are. They hold monthly auditions with fake casting directors and talent scouts that are in on the scam with them. I signed the contract and it was evident from the first few fake classes it was all a scam. Even the instructors are a joke, they can't even tell you anyone who has made it in the business that was signed with their company. Don't waste your time and even go to the audition. I wish I would have read these reviews and the other reviews that are all over the internet first or that someone had told me about this place. I can't wait to cancel this contract ASAP (which you have to do in writing prior to your contract actually being up.) Google Tru Talent, same company, different state.
