Better than the others in Securities Based LoansI've had a few clients that we sent over to EFH and found that they were honest and straightforward about the process and handling of the stock portfolios they were lending on. I don't know what the other 2 people here are talking about because all this information is disclosed in the paperwork. As a business loan broker and A rated company with the BBB I can attest to them as being honest and upfront about the process and loan payoff. I strongly suggest staying away from anyone selling a Margin Loan though.

Don't get sucked into this sort of scamAs it was mentioned in the above complaint - Equities First Holdings is a scam, which by the way had a recent lawsuit. The company claims to offer a "stock loan" but the process is the same as Derivium, which has been the subject of numerous lawsuits and regulatory actions for selling their customer's securities. I have heard nothing but lies from them. Sadly, I learned too late that those were lies, otherwise I would never go there.
I do not recommend anyone to go there. It is a fraudulent, or at least baseless place to spend your money at. Try searching information about companies you wish to deal with before you actually go there. |

Many people are taken into this sort of scam all the timeEquities First Holdings sells some or all of a customer's securities to fund their "loans" and keeps the difference. It continues to suck in unsuspecting clients and nobody can figure out why the SEC hasn't shut them down yet. Equities First Holdings had one lawsuit recently where the client could not get his shares back because they had sold them. When a client pays back the loan, Equities First has to go into the market to buy back the shares. They have no financial statements and no audited cash reserves nor any sort of regulatory oversight.
Many people are taken into this sort of scam all the time.
